I am Abenaki From Odanak.
My work is not just paint on canvas; it is a continuation of stories that have existed long before I picked up a brush. Every piece I create is grounded in the Woodland style, woven with Wabanaki design elements, and deeply rooted in the cultural teachings of my people.
In a time where Indigenous identity is often questioned or misunderstood, naming my Nation is an act of resilience and truth. While my physical appearance may not always align with what the world expects an Indigenous woman to look like, my spirit, my lineage, and my art belong entirely to the Abenaki people.
Focal Point Artistry is my way of bridging worlds—honoring my ancestors from Odanak while sharing healing, education, and vibrant color with communities across Northern Ontario and beyond.
Whether you are a school, nation, healthcare or mental health organization, gallery, or individual collector, Focal Point Artistry is here to support your vision through art and story.
